EL CASTILLO

During Islamic rule, Muslims built a castle in this city, and they surrounded it by walls.

VILLA ROMANA DE RIO VERDE The ruins of this ancient villa are located at the mouth of the Verde River.
There is an internal courtyard with lots of columns and a dozen rooms. The mosaics on the floors of the old villa, featuring sea and culinary motifs and faces, are truly magnificent.

CASCO ANTIGUO:
The old town of Marbella is absolutely charming. The streets are narrow and cobbled, with chic boutiques and local cafés side by side.The Old Town is perfect for shopping and relaxing in the many cafés, restaurants and bars.
BASÍLICA VEGA DEL MAR Here you'll find a paleo-Christian construction built by the Visigoths in the 4th century and unlike anything else in Spain. It is set inside the center of a religious junction of two ab sides-the western and eastern ones.
PUERTO BANÚS Puerto Banus is only a few kilometres west of Marbella, and being under the Municipality of Marbella shares many characteristics of the Costa del Sol's most well known resort. Famous for it's picturesque marina filled with multi-million dollar yachts, Puerto Banus also boasts a beach that stretches for one kilometre - the golden sands are a major attraction to this town that was once a traditional Spanish fishing village decades ago.
IGLESIA DE LA ENCARNACIÓN Originally built in 1505 with a surprising architectural design and size for the period, this church stands in Plaza de la Iglesa (popularly known as Plaza de la Encarnacion). It is the city's most important.
SAN JUAN DE DIOS Hospital built between the 15th and 16th centuries in late Gothic style.
TOWN COUNCIL (Ayuntamiento) a 16th century Renaissance building constructed by catholic monarchs.
HOUSE OF THE CORREGIDOR (Casa del Corregidor) - 16th century Mudejar style.
MUNICIPAL MUSEUM (Museo Municipal) It has Mudejar coffered ceilings and fresco paintings from the 16th century.
BAZAN HOSPITAL in Renaissance style, it houses the Contemporary Spanish Recording Museum (Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo).
